The things my kids say!

October is just beginning but the crazy things the kids say continues.  Last night while watching the news Damon (who reads very well) noticed the guy getting interviewed was Seth Macfarlane!  He knew instantly who Seth was and rattled off the shows his name appears in.  He was so excited when Seth drew a picture of Stewie.

Mason has started spelling words this year.  His first test came back with 100%!!!  Crazy for the kid who struggles to pay attention sometimes.  He also wrote me a letter.  It was neatly written.  The only error was his spelling of sieryosle (seriously).  Can’t blame him though, it appears to be phonetically written.

Lincoln blurted out a new word…Dog.  Finally this kid is starting to talk.  Of course he does sign 2-3 word sentences.  Brings snacks to you then signs more and please.  His “yes” is so cute!  He also started giving you his age.  If you ask he will put 1 finger up…Thanks Elaine!!  She did a great job teaching him.

Preston is smiling all the time.  He converses with anyone that looks at him.  We are finally adjusting to being away from Mom during the day.  He does well switching between nursing and bottle feeding and sometimes seems to have a preference at different times of the day.  Yesterday he ate 7oz in a sitting, which is a record for him.

My favorite tweets this week:

#Bathtime – Link blows bubbles in the water & Preston does the brotherly task of making his own fountain. Preston:2 – Lincoln:0

Mason: “that police car was smokin hot! That means he was speeding really fast.”

Chris helps w/Mason’s spelling word practice: how do you spell at, man, dad, it, will, Conzemius…yup sorry about that last name buddy (learning to spell that last name is so hard!!)

Lincoln has figured out the button lock on the washer locks every one but the cancel Explains the frequent soaking wet loads

Happy 3rd anniversary:  8pm & 82 degrees I must be missing something…I thought it was October???

We may need to think about making one of these since your family tree has grown by quite a bit 😉lollyjaneboutique.blogspot.com/2008/01/cant-k…

Getting Started

Okay so setting this up has been a treat!  You would think it was be a piece of cake.  At least blog is relatively the same of the wordpress.com blog I set up for a group I belong to.  Hopefully I can get this all put together soon.

I chose the name A Little Pink Lemonade because this may be as close to pink as I get in my house of all Blue!  Pink Lemonade is also our team name every year for the SIDS Run for Their Lives 5K run/walk.  We participate in memory of our daughter Clara and all the other families who have lost a baby too soon.
